Three exceptional aerobic
programs!
Fitness leader Jacki
Sorensen has developed three complete cardiovascular fitness and strength
programs to work all major muscles of the body in every class. All programs are
taught by well-trained, CPR-certified, professional instructors who lead each class with
quality materials and the highest of our industry's standards. The instructor
demonstrates how to vary the intensity and level of participation so that students may set
the pace and rate of progress for themselves. By calculating an individual working heart rate, each student is
able to work at a level appropriate to his or her needs and is monitored regularly by the
instructor.
Jacki's offers three fitness programs: Aerobic Dancing, Workout, and StrongStep. The
choreography and music of each program changes four times a year to keep the program
fresh, enjoyable, and challenging. Jacki delivers high-quality routines and
enjoyment in every class, session after session.
Classes are offered throughout the United States and in
Australia and Japan. Be sure to check the Class Locator to see which programs are located in
your area.

Jacki originated Aerobic Dancing in 1969 when she discovered
that her dance experience kept her physically fit. She developed a complete fitness
program for the non-dancer that rapidly became popular and made aerobics a
household word. Aerobic Dancing is the fitness sport
that combines the health and figure benefits of jogging with the fun of dancing.
Although choreographed for the non-dancer, Aerobic Dancing is challenging for experienced
students. Students feel as though they are performing while firming their body and
strengthening their cardiovascular system. The program is designed with women in
mind; however, men also enjoy Jacki's Aerobic Dancing.
Aerobic Dancing classes are progressive, with a new dance
introduced weekly. Our students love the progressive approach--it motivates you to
attend every class so you won't miss the next fun dance. Each class is different, as
dances are rotated to keep the material fresh and varied. |

Jacki's Aerobic Workout is designed with men and women
in mind. Each class is a head-to-toe workout with subtle choreography. Workout
classes are not progressive like Aerobic Dancing, making them perfect for busy people who
cannot attend class regularly because of travel or sporadic hours. |

Jacki's Aerobic StrongStep
program is a low-impact cardiovascular workout with the benefit of a step to increase
lower-body resistance and burn more calories. Like the Workout, StrongStep classes
are not progressive and appeal to those who find it difficult to attend class regularly
because of travel or busy schedules. |
Strong·Step (strông´step´) n.
1. a unique blend of exercise, bench, and resistance training. 2. a
combination of Vertifirm (for
hips and thighs) and hand-held weights (for
upper body). 3. low-impact, high-energy step routines. 4. the latest
in body-sculpting and fat-burning programs. 5. a Jacki Sorensen total-body
workout.

Which class is right for me?
Aerobic
Dancing - Workout
- StrongStep
If you ever dreamed of performing on stage, give Aerobic
Dancing a try. The dances have a feminine touch, so if you prefer a more general
workout, try the Workout. If you travel or have a sporadic schedule, try the
Workout or StrongStep classes, which are easy to follow when classes are
missed. If you want the extra benefits and challenge the step provides for increased
lower-body resistance, try StrongStep. Of course, you can always try all three
programs if offered locally and see which you like the best!
Whether you choose Aerobic Dancing,
Workout,
or StrongStep,
you will experience a complete aerobic workout in every class that is challenging, safe,
and best of all, fun!
